Description: The V220 was released just after the V500/V600 & is a smaller, lower end handset. This handset makes it possible for those with a lower budget to have a small, stylish camera phone at minimal cost. Released on both pay as you go & line rental on most networks, it is available to all!
As it is a small handset, there is not much room for a big screen. However, the quality of the camera is actually quite good & Motorola have made the menu customisable, so that if there are features you use most often, you can make them easier to get at.
There is a vibration alert, 65k colour screen & it is also tri-band for use abroad (network dependent), pre-installed MP3 ringtones for a little fun & a camera with 4x zoom, video playback, Motorola's own 'Motomixer' which allows you to mix sounds to create ringtones & it also has a built-in handsfree speaker phone!
A fair effort by Motorola has created this small, high quality but still low end cost mobile phone!

Review: it not a bad one but u can not get ringtones with out being charged loads and get put on a ringtone contract that seems to take money off you every day, i know this happends with most fones but this is the onl other way to get them as moto v220 has no bluetooth, no infered and no video or sound recording. thisfone is pritty useless. im on vodofone and i got this phone from the carphone warehouse. i cannot fault vodafone but ill say this, never get a fone fron carphone warehouse it rubbish and they ripe you off. stear clear from this fone. it rubbish and as fo the pics dont even get me started. !!

| Review: I got this phone for christmas 2 years ago and it looks good at first but it IT ISNT . good if you want a simple phone or your a beginners but it doesn't have much memory and the ringtones aren't that good either also is doesnt record videos . |

| Review: My nana recently bought this phone for me- i thought it was good in the book but then i realised we had been overcharged £169.99 for a phone that you can't record videos on. It does do its job- but i am disappointed. The camera is of alright quality but it has not got much free space. It's small and nifty; i would recommend it for beginners but not for people into their hi-tech phones. I am only 14 and i'm actually going to spend another £85 and get a video enabled phone on 3. |

| Review: I bought this phone as a cheap PAYG reconditioned phone, from Virgin Mobile. Camera quality is not that good. Pictures can be downloaded from phone to pc using USB Cable(not supplied!) and mobile phone tools software. MP3 ringtones and java games/apps can also be loaded to phone via pc using USB & cable, although the phone does not have much default free space. The battery life seems quite good, only having to charge it one a week, but then I don't use it that often. This phone does its job, but probably over priced at anything over £65.00. |
